"Comparing and Contrasting" - POINT-BY-POINT ORGANISATION

EBOOK VS. PAPER BOOK

Reading a book from an ebook is very differnt from reading it on paper. First of all, ebooks don't take almost space and don't almost weigh , while paper books occupy more space, weigh more, and accumulate dust. In contrast to paper books, with ebooks you are able to do a backup of the books in the case you lose them. Another difference is that ebooks are cheaper than books. Another important difference is that ebooks don't need paper and are responsible with the enviroment, while books have to be printed on paper. Also, while ebooks can be updated and corrected if they have mistakes, paper books haven't got this advantage because they have been printed already. Whereas with an ebook a book is easy to obtain and they don't run out, sometimes with paper books, editions are run out and you can't get a book. Ebooks facilitate the access to reading by being designed for people visually impaired, so they allow and include audio playback with books. However, paper books are more difficult to break down. With ebooks you are able to search a word or a sentence instantly, not the same as paper books. Finally, a last difference is that paper books don't require having any knowledge about technology. Although the purpose is the same: to read; doing that with an ebook or on paper can make the action very different.
